Privacy policy
The short version: this site has no accounts, no forms and no database, so it does not collect personal information from you. What it does have is advertising, and advertising means cookies set by Google. The details of both are below.
What we collect
Nothing, directly. There is nothing to sign up for, no comments, no newsletter and no form that sends us data.
The site is operated from Ecuador and hosted on Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse; Cloudflare describes that processing in its own privacy policy. We do not run a database and we do not build profiles from that data.
What stays in your browser
Anything the site remembers about your practice, such as which questions you missed, is stored by your own browser on your own device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases it.
Advertising and cookies
The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, and this is the only reason it sets cookies.
Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads and to measure whether they were seen or clicked. Depending on your settings, Google may also use cookies to show you ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. This is called personalized advertising, and it is done by Google under Google's own policies. You can turn personalized advertising off in your Google ads settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site keeps working without them. Ad networks see that a page was loaded, not what you answered on it.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent message before any advertising cookies are set. That message is managed by Google's consent tool, and you can change your choice from the same message at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to learn which pages are visited and which buttons are used. Google sets a cookie with a random browser identifier, not a name, and receives your IP address to work out your country.
What we send to analytics is limited to which page was viewed and clicks on buttons and links that we mark ourselves. It never includes anything you typed, and in a practice test it records that a test was started and finished, not which questions you got or how you answered them.
Children
The site is written for people preparing for their own driving test and is not directed at children under 13.
Links to other sites
We link to the websites of state licensing agencies and to Google. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Your choices
- To stop personalized ads, use your Google ads settings.
- To block or delete cookies, use your browser's privacy settings.
- To erase the questions you missed, clear this site's data in your browser.
We do not sell personal information, and we hold none to sell. If you have a question about your data, write to us through the contact page.
